The role

Become an instructor for SAP!

For more than 25 years, Mikado Resources has supported SAP Education Centres around the world by providing experienced SAP professionals to deliver official SAP training and certification-level courses.

We are continually looking to expand our network of SAP instructors across all functional and technical areas.

Who are we looking for?

You should be an experienced Senior SAP Consultant or Subject Matter Expert within your specialist area, with strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to explain complex SAP concepts clearly.

Previous classroom or virtual training experience is highly desirable, although you do not necessarily need to be an established SAP instructor. We are particularly interested in consultants who enjoy sharing their knowledge and have the confidence and interpersonal skills required to teach other SAP professionals. While many are conducted in English, we also have regular requirements for instructors who can deliver training in other languages. We are particularly keen to hear from consultants able to teach in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch or Polish.

These are not end-user training courses. The audience typically consists of consultants and other SAP professionals developing implementation and configuration skills.

How does the work fit around consulting?

Most courses are now delivered remotely, although occasional onsite assignments are also available.

The amount of work can vary considerably depending on your areas of expertise and availability. For some instructors it can provide regular assignments, while for others it may simply mean occasional course deliveries when a requirement matches their specialist knowledge.

There is no long-term commitment, making this type of work particularly suitable for experienced consultants who have some flexibility between or alongside their existing projects.

We engage instructors either:

  • On a freelance/independent consultant basis, or
  • Through your existing consulting company or employer, where they are happy for you to undertake SAP training assignments.

Certification

To deliver official SAP courses, you must hold a current SAP Certification relevant to your area of expertise, or be willing to obtain the appropriate certification before undertaking course delivery.

What you'll be doing

Most courses run for between 1–5 days. You’ll be provided with the official course materials and access to the relevant SAP system in advance, giving you time to familiarise yourself with the content and prepare for delivery.

There’s no requirement to create training materials yourself – your role is to bring the course content to life using your SAP expertise, practical experience and ability to explain concepts clearly.

Courses are delivered primarily remotely, with occasional opportunities for onsite delivery.

What you'll get

Rates vary around the world. More information will be provided on application.
