The role
SAP BW/4HANA Senior Consultant
This is a freelance opportunity starting immediately and for a duration of 12 months+. You will be working remotely for our consulting-company client but strictly on UK time zone 5 days per week.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of SAP BW / BI experience
- 4+ years of SAP BW/4HANA
- Strong experience with SAP HANA modelling
- S/4HANA / ECC data extraction
- ABAP for BW, transformations, routines and AMDP
- Process Chains and data-load monitoring
- SAC or BEx Reporting
- Strong understanding of LSA++ architecture and BW/4HANA data modelling
- PowerBI
- Native Hana
Good to Have
- SAP Datasphere
- BW on HANA to BW/4HANA migration experience
- SLT / SDI / SDA
- SAP BW/4HANA or HANA certification
- Exposure to Azure, AWS or GCP
What you'll be doing
- Design and develop BW/4HANA data models using aDSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views and InfoObjects.
- Support BW to BW/4HANA migration and implementation projects.
- Build and optimize data extraction from S/4HANA, ECC and non-SAP sources.
- Develop transformations, routines, DTPs and process chains.
- Perform SAP HANA modelling, including Calculation Views and AMDP.
- Optimize BW queries and data-loading performance.
- Support testing, UAT, production issues and root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders.
