 the recruitment and staffing industry has picked up a bad name for itself over the years, with some UK based agencies having the worst reputations of them all. At Mikado, something we pride ourselves on is the ability to build relationships with our clients and consultants based on trust, good service and advice but most importantly being able to deliver. These are not just words written for a website 'Promise' page, but our strong belief and the reason we are as successful as we are. Before
 forwarding anyone's CV to our clients we spend a lot of time checking their suitability. This includes:
  • Skills testing
  • Checking ability to work legally in the specified locations
  • Taking references from previous employers
  • Meeting candidates face to face (where geographically possible)
  • Obtaining permission from the candidate to exclusively submit their CV
This
 is all in addition to the specific requirements of our client and each individual role.
