SAP HCM Spanish Payroll Implementation Consultant
Our client is looking to urgently hire one SAP Spanish Payroll Consultant with good level of English, a positive attitude, strong motivation, and a desire for professional growth.
The successful candidate will participate in a Spanish SAP project implementations for their customers. He or she will be in charge of customising the system supported by the Lead Consultant.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 full-cycle SAP Spanish Payroll implementation projects in a similar role (SAP Payroll consultant) with a minimum of 4 or 5 year experience working in SAP HCM for Spain with strong focus on payroll scheme.
- Good knowledge on payroll scheme configuration in addition to normal PA, PY SAP customising.
- Experience with SAP Payroll / SAP Employee Central Payroll implementation methodologies.
- SAP Time Evaluation experience – Desirable.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Time Off experience – Desirable.
Required Competencies
- Strong knowledge of the SAP HXM data model (Infotypes, clusters, database tables, etc.).
- Solid understanding of HR processes (Personnel Administration and Payroll) – Mandatory.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Demonstrates confidence in their area of expertise, resourcefulness, and commitment to achieving project objectives.
- Effective time management skills to meet project and service deadlines.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized, committed, and customer-oriented.
Certifications & Qualifications
- SAP HXM/HCM Certification – Mandatory
- Fluent Spanish and medium/high level English – Mandatory
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
What you'll be doing
- Gather customer requirements and lead business workshops.
- Prepare high-quality project documentation based on EPI-USE methodology templates, including:
- Business Blueprint (BBP)
- Wage Type Catalogue
- Year-to-Date Document
- Data Migration Plan
- Test Plan
- Training Plan
- Configure SAP Spanish Payroll according to the approved BBP or Payroll Workbook.
- Collaborate with the offshore team on generic payroll configuration.
- Maintain effective communication with the Project Manager and Executive Management in English.
- Report project progress, risks and issues to the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify out-of-scope requirements and manage them efficiently together with the Project Manager.
- Adapt to Agile project methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to achieve project and service objectives.
